Tonsorial Arts Barber College

In The Beginning

Tonsorial Arts Barber College was founded by Charles and Benjamin House. Born in Oakland, Calif., the House brothers spent their early years engaged in team sports. It wasn’t until moving to Arkansas in 1995 that their interest in
barbering began.

Laying The Foundation

Benjamin was first to show interest in the Tonsorial Arts and took every opportunity to practice on friends and family. In the pursuit of furthering his skill set Charles relocated to the DFW area to attend barber college. As well as obtaining both barber and instructor licenses, he also worked at several barbershops in the area. Their passion for Barbering grew as the years passed and in 2011 they decided to pursue their dream of opening a barber school.

Building The House

After years of planning and research, skill development, licensing examinations and shop experiences, they were ready for the challenge. T.A.B.C. was founded in 2015 and opened its doors in March 2016.
