Tonsorial Arts Barber College was founded by Charles and Benjamin House. Born in Oakland Calif. the House brothers spent their early years engaged in team sports. It wasn’t until moving to Arkansas in 1995 that there interest in Barbering began.
Laying The Foundation
Benjamin was first to show interest in the Tonsorial Arts and took every opportunity to practice on friends and family. In the pursuit of furthering his skill set Charles relocated to the DFW area to attend barber college. As well as obtaining both barber and instructor licenses, he also worked at several barbershops in the area. Their passion for Barbering grew as the years past and in 2011 they decided to persue their dream of opening a barber school.
Building The House
After years of planning and research, skill development, licensing examinations and shop experiences, they were ready for the challenge. The idea was realized in 2016 and T.A.B.C. was born.
